OVERVIEW
Why AI approach?
AI tools are reshaping how designers ideate and iterate
This project explores AI as a core UX collaborator
PROBLEM
Website to redesign
The Grand Hotel is a communal hub in central Augsburg that blends hospitality with social impact. There are 4.3k monthly visitors on their website ut not nearly enough translations. Hence, I am redesigning the website to improve clarity, engagement, and donations.

AI PROCESS
From prompting to design decisions
Step 1: Understanding the problem (human work):
Talking to stakeholder of grandhotel to understand goals and constraints.
Taking surveys of people already workijg and vlounteering there.
Step 2: Learning to prompt as a designer

Step 3: Generating & comparing AI outputs:
Generating a detailed prompted from LLM, and feeding it to different platforms.
Evaluated AI-generated outputs and selected the strongest direction
Step 4: Human judgment & iteration
Reviewed iterations with stakeholders and translated feedback into prompts
Executed design changes within the same day

REFLECTION
What I learned:
What I learned about AI
AI speeds up exploration, not decision-making.
Prompt quality directly affects design quality.
Different tools excel at different UX stages.
What I learned about design
Structure matters more than visual polish.
Engagement improves when flows are simple
